Nee Soon town council was established on 1 April 2013. It was originally Sembawang – Nee Soon Town Council with the objective of serving a rapidly expanding estate more effectively in coming years.

An interesting part of this website is actually the Interactive Map function that we coded in. Residents could use this interactive Map and click on the “Find My MP “map function.
With that, the residents will be able to see the zone that they belong to, as well as the MPs that can help them with their queries. Residents are able to key in their postal code to find out who is their MP, where is the nearest BBQ pit, pavilion and many more more.

We used the colour navy blue to evoke the feeling of power and authority which brings it to more towards the ideas of importance as Singapore Institute of International Affairs is something that talks about what is happening around the world and not just singapore.
Since the whole page is in navy blue the web design adds other colours such as orange, green, blue to enlighten the dark navy blue to give the page some contrast so that they can be creative too.
